We need an extra set of hands (or three!) to help our teachers keep up with laundry maintenance so that they can spend more time being awesome preschool educators! Ideally, we are looking for assistance Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you'd like a quick, easy way to get some extra volunteer hours in and still make a significant impact in improving our children's classroom experience by providing this kind of support, we would love to hear from you even if you can only do one or two day! Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Maritssa Torres at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CPCD prepares children for success in school and life by providing excellent comprehensive early childhood services in partnership with diverse families and the community.
CPCD is committed to the comprehensive early childhood development model, which is at the basis of its successful Head Start and Early Head Start programs. CPCD serves just under 2,000 prenatal through five-year-old at-risk, low-income and special needs children and their families. We operate classrooms in six school districts. Our two generation approach provides parents with education, services and training to help them be their child's first and best teacher. Community volunteers 12 and older join us year round to change the lives of our most vulnerable citizens.
