Let's plant trees in Lake Oswego! This community event is focused on planting native Oregon White Oaks and associated shrubs to help restore this important habitat area. This project is part of a larger effort by the City of Lake Oswego in partnership with Mosaic Ecology to improve the park's Oak Woodland (which we think is cool!). Join Friends of Trees and the City of Lake Oswego to restore Willamette Valley oak trees.
Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance -- simply show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy footware, and be ready to have fun!
* How do I register? Please register through Friends of Trees: friendsoftrees.org Individuals and groups welcome!
* Under age 18? A signed youth waiver is required for youth to volunteer: www.friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver (link is external) We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.
Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey at (503) 595-0213 // volunteer@friendsoftrees.org (link sends e-mail) if you have questions.
Thank you to our event sponsor Bartlett Tree Experts!
