Gallery Hosts are the backbone of FotoFest as the exhibitions cannot open without one present! Whether you already share a passion for art or are looking to expand your horizons, we will provide you with any info you might need. All that's required from you is a friendly face and willingness to step into something new. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering questions, protecting the artwork, and suggesting the next stop from the guide.
We have 3 exhibition venues in need of hosts:
Silver Street Studios: 2000 Edwards St, Houston, TX 77007
Winter Street Studios: 2101 Winter St, Houston, TX 77008
The Silos: 1502 Sawyer St, Houston, TX 77007
Shifts are available every day through March 29, then every Wednesday-Sunday after that.
Two time options are available, 10:45am-2:30pm and/or 2:15-6pm
Feel free to bring a book, laptop, or other small project to work on. WiFi, snacks, and water provided. You may also bring a friend to volunteer with you during your shift!
Direct questions to Molly Ward at volunteers@fotofest.org
NOTE: A member of the FotoFest staff will contact you via email with the next step to sign-up
