The European Union, in partnership with the California Energy Commission and the Embassy of Belgium, is hosting a day-long forum focused on energy efficiency policies and practices.

Joining leading policy makers from California and the European Union for this special event and help add your personal touch on this momentous day of climate-centered diplomacy in Berkeley.

Roles include:

  • Greeter/registration
  • Usher
  • Microphone runner during Q/A period
  • Note-taker

Shifts include the following. ****In replying with your interest, please indicate the corresponding number(s) of the shifts lifted below you would be willing to volunteer.****

  1. 7:30 - 9:30 set up and registration
  2. 9:00 - 11:00 all roles during panel
  3. 11:00 - 1:00 all roles during panel
  4. 1:00 - 3:00 all roles during panel
  5. 2:30 - 4:30 closing reception/tear down

The European Union is a unique economic and political partnership among 28 diverse democracies united in their commitment to peace, democracy, the rule of law, and respect for human rights. It is represented in the United States by the Washington, DC Delegation of the European Union, a full-fledged diplomatic mission working in close coordination with the Embassies and Consulates of the 28 EU Member States.
