Event Season has started!! Hope Connections for Cancer Support has several event volunteer openings for the Spring/Summer 2020, all over the Montgomery County, and WDC areas.
Health Fairs and Community Outreach Events:
- We are looking for volunteers with some daytime and/or weekend availability to help us spread the word about Hope Connections at corporate and government health fairs, as well as other community outreach events in the Washington metropolitan area.
Day-of Event and Activity Help:
- Duties include helping with set up and take down, managing registration tables, collecting forms, running raffles, etc.
- Most events occur weeknights with hours ranging from 5:00 pm to 8:30/9:00 pm. Some standing, stooping, walking required.
