Our parties at THE SALVATION ARMY'S DOWNTOWN SHELTER are 2 hours of JOY! We bring the supplies, but you bring the MAGIC!! As a birthday enthusiast, you’ll help decorate and set up the party space, oversee games and activities, sing Happy Birthday...and so much more! Your time and energy will truly have a direct impact on some really special kids in your community!
Here's how it works:
6:15 pm - birthday enthusiasts arrive and set up the party space!
6:45-7:45 pm - welcome the families and jump right into the fun!
7:45-8:15 pm - it's time for a quick clean up and recap of the party!

About one week prior to the party, you'll receive a detailed email with everything you need to know to be ready to PARTY!!! Together we'll give these families an experience they will never forget!

We host themed birthday parties EVERY MONTH, and invite ALL the children living there to come party with us! We provide the decorations, activities and crafts games, cupcakes, gifts and party favors, but awesome volunteers help bring the party to life!!!
