Seeking 1-2 volunteers for Ontario ARC's Social Adult Day Program, Silver Connections. It is a offers a welcoming, caring environment for aging adults who need support during the day. Volunteers are needed to socialize with people who are participating in Silver Connections, assist with group activities, help with meal preparation and clean-up and simply be a companion.

Description
The Arc Ontario is a private, not-for-profit organization serving more than 700 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families throughout Ontario County in New York. The agency strives to create an atmosphere which encourages independence, integration, and productivity for the people it serves. - Must be at least 50
- Orientation or Training
- The program runs from 9:00am-3:00pm Monday - Friday. Ideally someone to volunteer the full shift, but can share the shift and days with another person. Mondays are the most critical need.
- Must like working with seniors. An application and other paperwork must be completed prior to starting and training will take place at Silver Connections.
