ORGANIZATION: ChickTech

Our chapter and organization run on donations, volunteers, and the mission: to help increase the number of women and girls in tech. We do this in two ways with our High School program and our ACT-W events including our yearly conference. Our high school workshops are all hands-on and interactive so that students come out of each with a sense of accomplishment and a burst of confidence. Our ACT-W events and conference provide women in our community with opportunities to accelerate their careers whether that's by networking or hosting free workshops and panel talks. In order to continue to provide this type of support to women and girls, we need funding and that's where you'd come in. We are looking for someone to help us obtain sponsorships and grants by finding grant opportunities and writing grant proposals. We are all very passionate about our mission and are looking for someone to help keep this mission alive!
