American Red Cross disaster volunteers provide food, comfort and other emergency support to those affected by major disasters all over the country, but the most common disasters to which we respond happen right here in our own community - floods and fires.
Every day there are 2-4 home fires in Indiana. Volunteers are needed locally to provide comfort and meet disaster caused needs. We can provide all of the training needed and you can sign up for shifts that meet your schedule, with a minimum shift requirement of two 12-hour on-call periods per month.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
Every single day, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies. Whether itメs one displaced family, thousands of disaster victims, or providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member, our vital work is made possible by people like you. It is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things.
We'll work with your schedule.
