The Judy Peters Basic Needs Resource Center (BNRC) seeks to ease the burden of poverty among The Centers/Circle Health clients. The BNRC facilitates immediate, no-cost solutions to daily, unexpected challenges that limit the potential of our families to thrive. By providing an integrated set of core services that meets these needs, The Centers/Circle Health can best help clients address basic needs such as nutrition, transportation, household items, and toiletries, giving them a sense of relief and stability so that they can focus on successful outcomes for the primary issues that brought them to our doors; such as integrated healthcare, jobs training and childcare.
We are looking for volunteers to help during our Mobile Pantry as part of our food as medicine program. Volunteers will sort food that we receive on pallets, package it and help place into the trunks of cars. We will be outside, practicing social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands.
Hours are 10am to 3pm, Tuesday, September 15th and Thursday, September 17th. Any amount of time you can volunteer would be appreciated.
