Rachel Coalition, a division of Jewish Family Service of MetroWest, provides a variety of services to assist victims of domestic violence and those living in high conflict households.
Court Advocate Volunteers are trained to assist domestic violence victims as they await their restraining order hearings in Essex County Family Court in Newark. All volunteers must complete a 40-hour training course and commit to volunteering at least twice a month.
Trainings are held every spring and fall. No experience necessary.

Description
Jewish Family Service provides a full range of services to strengthen and restore families. Services include individual, family, and children's services; elder care services; family life education; adoption services; volunteer services; chronic illness and developmental disabilities programs; domestic violence response; school-based services, Jewish Resource Line; and resettlement and citizenship.
