The LOT Project is planning to host a special Saturday Donation Center and we need your help. We are looking for 10 to 12 volunteers to help out on Saturday Feb 22nd, from 9:00am to noon. We will be accepting and sorting donated items, tagging and hanging clothes, packing hygiene bags, cleaning and organizing the building. If weather permits, we may also do some outdoor cleanup.
This is a great opportunity to serve the LOT and get to know how we support our mission behind the scenes. It's also a great way to engage with other volunteers in a fun and interactive way.
We typically only have Donation Center on Mondays and Wednesdays, but we're running short on a few things. And several of our donors have expressed that they have trouble getting to us during this week. If this event is successful, it may become a regular monthly thing

Description
We currently operate two programs; The LOT and Artisan Gardens
At The LOT, we provide hot meals, clothing, and basic needs items to those in need twice a week, from our program space at 302 West Market Street in Anderson.
At Artisan Gardnes, we partner with members of Artisan Fellowship church to grow food, faith, and friends through two community garden spaces on E Street and G Street in Anderson. Here community members help us to grow and distribute produce to those in need, while teaching others how to grow their own food.
