We would like to welcome you to our community as a volunteer greeter.

As a greeter at Parkinson’s Pointe, you are likely the first person that a new prospective member will meet and the friendly face that says hello to returning members as they arrive for class. Your role is essential for Parkinson’s Pointe to succeed. Thank you for your interest!

Greeter Responsibilities:

  • Welcome members and guests as they arrive for classes and programs.
  • Assist instructor with getting members settled in for class.
  • Provide a tour for new prospective members / "walk-ins".
  • Facilitate "walk-ins" to schedule an orientation if they are interested in joining a class.
  • Answer basic questions regarding Parkinson’s Pointe programs, signing up for orientation, contributing a donation online, etc.

We are looking for greeters for various time-slots Monday - Friday from 9 - 3. Opportunities vary from 1.5 hours to full day shifts and we are looking for both "ongoing" volunteers (who would serve, for example, one shift a week) as well as "drop in" volunteers (who help us out when their schedule allows).
