ORGANIZATION: Open Arms Sober Living

  • 4 people are interested

Open Arms Sober Living, a recently formed non profit organization, is seeking a grant writer to secure funds to open and sustain a sober living house for women in the Farmers Branch/Carrollton TX area. We have a group of 12 people that have been working for two years to get the corporation formed and open the house for 7 women. Our board and committee are 100% volunteer. We have reached our $50,000 fundraising goal to open the house with a target date of early 2022. Due to the current real estate market we plan to rent a home as we open the house with a goal to purchase a home. It is projected that we will need approximately $2,000 per month to fund the facility and a full time house manager. Our former volunteer grant writer has done a substantial amount of work and we have resources for grant opportunities. Your assistance will directly support women desiring to sustain a sober life.
