We are a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Our heart is to serve our community by providing EAAT and EAL (Equine Assisted Activities and Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning) to children with special needs. We are a Therapeutic Riding Center and a Member Center of Path Int'l. PATH is the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship and we have a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor on site. Our hope is to provide EAAT and EAL to any child who may benefit regardless of ability to pay - we wish to be 100% donor funded, so that no child that would like to participate goes without EAAT and/or EAL due to lack of funds.
Will you join us in providing the magic of Equine Therapy? We are in need of additional volunteers to provide therapeutic riding lessons on Friday and Saturday mornings. No experience is required. Training session mandatory. Thank you for considering a volunteer position at AGape Acres.

Mission Statement
To share the unconditional love of Christ (Agape love) by providing EAAT (Equine Assisted Activities and Therapy) and EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) to children with special needs.
Description
Agape Acres is a family non-profit organization. We are a member center of PATH International and thus adhere to the safety, ethical and operating standards set forth by PATH International. We founded Agape Acres because we have been blessed and feel called to bless other through Equine Therapy and providing Therapeutic Riding lessons and programs to those who may benefit. We live on 20 acres (5 are dedicated to Agape Acres) and have created a place where Agape love prevails. Horses (and all animals) provide us with unconditional love (agape love), something we all want and need. Working with horses provides a sense of accomplishment through responsibility, dedication, knowledge and skills gained. Riding provides physical and emotional well-being through enhanced balance and improved cognitive development. We hope that you will join us in providing the magic of equine therapy.
We are now offering three platforms; Therapeutic Riding, a Veterans program - Equine Services for Heroes and the Colors of Hope (colors-of-hope.org) Equine Restoration program for survivors of sex trafficking and sexual abuse.
