EcoTarium, WORCESTER NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY
The EcoTarium is a unique indoor-outdoor museum. Founded in 1825 as the Worcester Lyceum of Natural History, the EcoTarium is the second oldest natural history organization in the United States. Our scientific collection has specimens from all period's of the museum's history that includes botanical specimens, fossils, mammals, rocks and minerals, seashells, birds and insects. Our library contains rare and antique volumes related related to these fields of study.
The Library Volunteer will document the author, title and publication data of books in our historic collection gin order to create a catalogue.
