Come volunteer with us at PVPLC's Native Plant Nursery! You will help transplant seedlings and prepare native plants to be planted in restoration sites around the Peninsula to improve wildlife habitat! The Native Plant Nursery is located in San Pedro on a secured Navy Fuel Support Point. All volunteers must email Brittany Goldsmith at bgoldsmith@pvplc.org to fill out paper work in order to get a Navy Badge for access to this site. Minimum one month commitment is needed. Volunteers who do not have their Navy Badge will not be permitted to enter the Navy base. Please arrive 15 minutes early to account for the security. Volunteers will be working outdoors, so please wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection and be sure to bring drinking water and a snack. Thank you for supporting the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy!
