The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is seeking volunteers to help set up, serve, and clean up after affordable lunches for older adults. Volunteers also have the opportunity to deliver meals to homebound older adults.

Purpose
Provide affordable or free lunch and time for social interaction for older adults who might otherwise struggle to meet their nutritional needs and who face social isolation.

Senior Cafe Position Details:
-Unload lunch delivery, prepare food, collect payment, serve lunch, assist with clean up.
-Volunteers should have the ability to bend, lift, and stand on feet for 1-2 hours. Helpful attitude and is willing to be trained. No experience required.
- Senior Cafes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Volunteers arrive at 10am and leave around 1pm. Sign up for one or more days.

Meal Delivery Position Details:
-Drive up to 2 hours on a route, hopping in and out of your vehicle, walking up to clients doorsteps to deliver meals
-Deliveries will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Volunteers can work one, two or all three days. The choice is yours.

Location of work: Whitmore Lake.
