Albany Public Library is looking for a volunteer to assist with one on one computer help at their North Albany branch. The volunteer will work one on one with adult patrons to assist with their computer needs. Typical needs are focused on learning the ins and outs of email, setting up a new device, searching skills, etc. This means that the volunteer does not need to be a pro at technology, but they do need to be comfortable teaching adults, and they need to have patience.
The volunteer must commit to at least one day a week. The branch needs someone most in the afternoons, for at elast 1-2 hours at a time.
This is a great opportunity for students looking to build their resume, or retirees with free time to give!
