DemocracyLab is a platform that connects skilled tech volunteers with tech for good projects that seek to tackle the world's most challenging problems.

We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Engagement coordinator to join our business team. We have a significant number of volunteers offering their services to the organization each week, and we need someone to manage the screening and onboarding process for these candidates. Many candidates will join DemocracyLab's core team, while others can be directed towards the other 70+ projects using our platform. Much like an early-stage startup, there is an emphasis on building process infrastructure for the organization's long-term growth plans. We are a group of volunteer self-starters working autonomously at our own time, and our own pace and are looking for similar candidates that share our passion for DemocracyLab's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond in a timely fashion to offers of volunteer support from our platform and Volunteer Match
• Schedule times to interview and onboard candidates
• Manage our job postings on Volunteer Match and elsewhere
• Strategize concerning opportunities to increase the flow of volunteers to our projects
• Improve onboarding processes and documentation
