Event volunteers will assist in helping make Shave to Save yet again a success! In volunteering at Shave to Save, volunteer duties may include but are not limited to, greeting guests and making them feel welcome upon arrival, assisting staff with registration, assisting staff/volunteers with ensuring various event stations run smoothly (Wine Pull, Coffee Station, Auction, Etc.) and helping staff/volunteers clean up at nights end.

For the past 19 years, Shave to Save has raised millions of dollars to support the American Cancer Society's Kansas City Hope Lodge! Hope Lodge is the ONLY facility in our community dedicated to providing FREE, temporary hotel-like housing to cancer patients and their caregivers while they undergo lifesaving treatment. Shave to Save is truly special in the fact that 20+ community and corporate leaders will not only make the commitment to raise money and awareness for the Kansas City Hope Lodge, but they will also SHAVE THEIR HEAD on stage the night of the event in Honor or Memory of someone touched by cancer. In 2019, more than 300 community and corporate leaders joined us for an evening to remember, as we raised over $210,000 to support Hope Lodge. In 2020, we are proud to celebrate 20 years of giving hope a home in Kansas City and with your help can guarantee another 20 years.
