Here's how to apply your fnancial skills and experience to advancing an important social effort. We are a small nonprofit dedicated to promoting and providing employment for people with disabilities. We employ people with and without disabilities to bake and sell our treats at farmers markets, through wholesale, and through catering. We also sponsor regular music events. As Treasurer you will help guide decisions about our growth. We want someone with the ability to manage different accounts, analyze our financial trends and plans, provide monthly and annual reports, and work with a CPA and our payroll service. Training opportunities and bookkeeping assistance can be arranged. The Treasurer would usually be on our Board of Directors, depending on qualifications. The Board meets monthly.

We have income from sales, grants, and donations. We have twelve part-time employees.

Applicants should have significant accounting experience. If you also have other skills related to our mission, that would be a big plus -- perhaps skills in food service, nonprofit management, marketing, special events, fundraising, or helping people with disabilities. Let us know!
