The goal of the Middle Earth Youth College Readiness program is to not only ensure that students improve their academic performance, but also realize that they are able to make post-secondary education a reality. YCR students learn about managing time, managing money, and the importance of their high school grades along with learning about college applications and college life. Due to the fact that we stress the importance of academic achievement, as well as the importance of standardized tests such as the SAT, we aim to provide some level of tutoring for our students, and our looking for individuals willing to volunteer in this role. Tutoring in a broad range of topics, including SAT and PSAT tutoring, is essential to the success of the YCR program, but in particular we have a number of students looking for help with Physics.
