What will you build?
St. Vrain Habitat recently purchased a small, single-family home in Estes Park. We will be renovating and upgrading this home before selling it as a Habitat rehab to a qualified applicant. Remember no experience is necessary, but certainly always welcome. Home rehab projects consist of exterior work such as roofing repair, replacing siding, exterior paint and landscaping. Volunteers will also do interior work including landscaping, demolition, and paint scraping, replacing windows and doors, installing bathroom and kitchen fixtures, flooring, and painting. Volunteers are asked to commit to a full day from 9AM-3:30PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has been providing safe, decent, and affordable housing to those in need. We have built 118 homes in Longmont and the surrounding area, and over 130 homes through our international tithe program. In 2017, St. Vrain Habitat merged with the Habitat for Humanity of Estes Valley and last year marked the official start of building since the merger.

Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has been building simple, decent, affordable homes for those in need throughout our community. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is "to put God’s love into action, bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope."
Description
Based in Longmont, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has built 72 homes locally and 130 internationally. Our homes are sold to qualified family partners at cost with a no-profit mortgage. As homeowners repay their mortgage, the funds are invested into building more homes for deserving families. We select homeowner families based on their need for adequate shelter, their ability to pay for a Habitat home, and their willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including taking financial and homeownership classes. All homeowners contribute "sweat equity"; they work in partnership with the affiliate and other volunteers, contributing up to 500 hours of volunteer service.
