We are a hospice in the San Diego area in need of volunteers with training in special skills or hobbies. Here at Elite, our patients, their families and their caregivers are an integral part of the team, and we are looking for volunteers with a good head and a compassionate heart to become a part of our team.
Volunteers with unique or specialized skills have are especially needed in the hospice world. Notaries,masseuses, licensed barbers or beauticians may offer their services on an as needed basis. Musicians, artists or pet therapists can offer their services and those who knit or create and are willing to help out patients make something for loved ones are welcome as well. Veteran to Veteran volunteers help out Veteran patients by providing an outlet for discussing events or situations that happened in an event of war and can help provide closure to patients.
