Wesley Housing’s After-School Program is designed to provide a safe academic and recreational environment for elementary children at its Community Resource Centers (CRC). Heavy emphasis is directed towards academic improvement and social skills development, both identified areas of weakness for at-risk children.
Be a Reading Tutor. Share your time will help them reach grade level at a critical time in their academic journey.
Two locations:
Wexford Manor Community Resource Center: (Merrifield area)

Lincolnia Community Resource Center: (Lincolnia/Annandale area)

Monday-Thursday: 4:30-6:00pm
Minimum 1 day per week commitment. Must be 16 years or older.

Description
Wesley Housing is a nonprofit affordable housing developer operating 29 communities totaling over 2,300 affordable housing units, serving over 25,000 individuals. In addition to housing, Wesley Housing also provides services to its residents through Community Resource Centers which offer afterschool programs for youth, computer training, job skills training, ESL classes, nutrition classes and recreational programs for youth and adults.
