The Humane Society owns a thrift store in Pine Mountain that is a big source of revenue for the rescue. We need more volunteers to help staff it consistently. All of us that work at the store, love it. It is a lot of fun and we enjoy interacting with the customers.
Our hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10-4.

Mission Statement
The objective of this organization shall be the relief of suffering among animals, the adoption of stray or neglected animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals and the extension of human education.
Description
Our organization has sheltered and adopted stray and homeless animals from throughout harris County and surrounding areas for over 16 years. We develop and maintain programs that encourage responsible pet ownership, give low income individuals assistance in maintaining the feeding and care of their pets, education programs and have just begun a therapy dog program.
