Every Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. you can give healthy perishable food to our Boston neighbors in need. We need volunteers to help unload a truck full of food rescued from local grocery stores (food that otherwise would go to waste), organize this food, then help distribute it to our guests who stop by the center.
This is a very active and rewarding volunteer opportunity that takes place each Friday afternoon at The Salvation Army South End location - 1500 Washington St Boston. All are welcome!
