The recently renovated gift shop at Hudson Hospital features fair-trade, eco-friendly, and locally-sourced merchandise with a philosophy of giving back to the hospital and our patients! Volunteers enjoy greeting and assisting customers with their purchases and maintaining a clean and organized shop. Volunteers are
trained to operate the user-friendly cash register and credit card machine, price merchandise, straighten and organize displays, restock merchandise, and maintain general care of the appearance of the shop. Our customer service-oriented gift shop volunteers receive work direction from the Gift Shop Coordinator and enjoy interacting with a variety of people throughout the day including visitors, patients, employees, and community members.
All volunteers receive complimentary meals at the on-site cafe during their shifts, a discounted membership to the fitness center on-site, an annual volunteer recognition celebration, and invitations to hospital and campus events.

- Orientation or Training
- Shifts are 3-4 hours in length and are either 9am-12pm or 12pm-4pm.
- Gift shop volunteers can commit to a regular weekly shift or can work as a "fill-in" on the schedule, filling in at least 1-2 shifts per month when there are openings. Must complete online volunteer application on hospital website www.hudsonhospital.
