Do you love dogs and want to help the homeless animals in your community? Come walk a dog! Volunteers help socialize, exercise, and train the adoptable dogs here at McKamey Animal Center. This interaction helps reduce the stress level of the dogs in the shelter and helps make them more adoptable.

Shifts are available mornings and afternoons, seven days a week. Spend just two hours a week making a huge difference in the lives of animals. We will provide all necessary training.

Must be at least 16 years of age. Orientation and Animal Handling Classes are required. Comfort with dogs of all sizes a plus. Join us today!
