HabiJax is looking for volunteers interested in becoming a Construction Team Leader!
A Construction Team Leader promotes the mission of Habitat for Humanity while leading volunteers onsite to complete typical HabiJax volunteer tasks.
Volunteer projects include:
- House wrapping and window installation
- Caulking and painting
- Landscaping and laying sod
- Cleaning for Pre-carpet and final punch
Tasks:
- Install exterior doors
- Install bathroom hardware, closet shelves and baseboards
- Install exterior columns, handrails and shutters
- Build storage sheds
We are looking for Team Leads who:
- Desire to serve the Jacksonville community
- Comfortable speaking to and leading groups of people
- Organized and proactive
- Willing to learn and to share knowledge
-Available to volunteer as a leader 1-2 times a month
