On Saturday, April 4, 2020 Grant A Gift Autism Foundation will hold its Annual 5k Race for Hope and Fun Walk. This annual day of fun, fitness and fundraising celebrates National Autism Awareness Month and supports children, youth and families affected by autism living in Nevada. The family-friendly event of fun will include the 5k run, music, raffles, entertainment, and plenty of activities for the kids and families!
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Set Up Crew 6:00-8:00 AM
- Registration 6:30-8:30 AM
- On Course Crew 7:30-10:30 AM
- Directional Support/Cheerleaders 7:30-10:00 AM
- Finish Line Crew 7:30-10:30 AM
- Break Down Crew 10:30 AM-12:30 PM

To help children, young adults and their families master autism by providing assessment and treatment funding; combined with support services, vocational training and transition planning.
Description
Our goal is to provide family-centered care through one or more of our programs and services, and help prepare individuals with autism to live as independent adults with functioning roles in our community.
We act as a community safety net by filling in treatment and funding gaps not covered by state and federal resources or insurance. Our organization achieves this by collaborating with other organizations, state agencies, or providers to give children with Autism Spectrum Disorder growing up in Nevada a better quality of life and future as they transition into adults.
