Provide rides for elderly.

The Volunteer Center's Transportation Program is a unique program where volunteer drivers help neighbors continue to live at home by providing rides to essential services.

Many seniors in our community are in need of rides for essential services such as medical and dental appointments, grocery shopping.

The Volunteers Center's Transportation program matches drivers with seniors and disabled riders throughout Santa Cruz County. Drivers can choose to make as little as one trip a week, or they can drive as often as they wish. Volunteer drivers choose their own hours and destinations.

Volunteers may also help in the office scheduling rides and assisting office staff.
