By interviewing and writing about our hospice patients, you can help encapsulate a story and help preserve their family history as a keepsake for their families. Volunteer Biographers will interview patients, learn about their family, education and culture and then write a brief patient biography including family photographs or video in an album or digital format. This Opportunity is ideal for journalists, social workers, scrapbookers, students and educators! All Caring Hospice will provide you with the biography template, while you will provide the patient with priceless memento for their families to remember them.
Volunteers are crucial to the hospice experience and a vital part of our team of caregivers. Patients and families value the personal touch volunteers bring to an emotional process at the end of life’s journey.
