We meet on Saturdays at the Pomona Farmers Market. We have an homeless clothing drive and a regular online store that a stock clerk volunteer can bring order to the vast assortment of goods and materials. The volunteer will receive, unpack, check, store, track merchandise or materials, and pack customers orders. Keep records or items entering or leaving the stock rack and inspect goods. Stock clerks and order fillers volunteers sort, organize, and mark items with identifying codes, such as price, stock, or inventory control codes. Other tasks: print and attach price tags to merchandise by hand, compute prices, issue receipts, keep shipping records, and request additional materials, supplies, and equipment, stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and table with merchandise, take physical count of stock, mark merchandise, and tag shelves, construct and install store displays to attract customers. They upkeep tables, shelves and sweep debris from display areas. Put up and break down tabletops at events.

Mission Statement

Our mission! As a Housing Resource Center: our goal is to present properties that would be suitable for Independent Living, Veterans, Foster Care, and Transitional Housing to prospects wanting to be a part of the Homelessness & Job Solution. We also do three special Community Fund Raising Events for our local homeless population. Red Fox aka Naeema-Founder and CEO manages LLF. Knowing that 18 is far too young for some young adults barely out of High School to be self-sufficient, one of our housing affords is to raise money to purchase houses for "The Lavender House Project". This will be a place where everyone will feel a safety net; yet, have supervised Independent Living setting with shared room and board arrangements.
