Certified Pet needed to visit patients on Hospice in a local nursing home, pet can be either cat or dog.

Seniors and Patients on Hospice respond wonderfully to pets visiting and has shown signs of improvement with anxiety and blood pressure. Pet therapy is a great use of volunteering and we are looking for a committed individual and pet to visit our lovely patients.

Please feel free to contact with any questions, owners of the pets must be screened and trained as well. Please note we do not have a trainer for your pets to be certified, you will have to seek out certification on your own and then apply to be a Pet therapy volunteer.

Thank you
