ORGANIZATION: Four Seasons The Care You Trust
Please visit the new page to apply.
We Honor Veterans is a national program, developed by the Veterans Administration and the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization to address the needs of veterans at the end of life. Four Seasons, The Care You Trust, has been a proud organizational partner of We Honor Veterans (WHV) since 2014.
WHV volunteers are members of MOAA, the Military Officers Association of America. These volunteers receive training with Four Seasons to provide a special Pinning Ceremony to veterans in hospice care. They work with a Chaplain, Music Therapist, and other members of the patient's care team to deliver a special ceremony for the veteran, thanking and honoring them for their service and sacrifice to our country.
If you are a MOAA member who is interested in joining this program, please contact us!

Co-Creating The Care Experience
Description
We are the end-of-life care specialists in Western North Carolina. This is all we do, caring for you and your loved ones through the last years and months of life. We believe innovative treatment and compassionate care go hand in hand. In fact, we are among the few organizations in the country that research and develop comfort care practices and treatments. We lead clinical studies that can help improve our patients’ symptoms and, ultimately, their quality of life.
Four Seasons is nationally recognized for providing exemplary palliative and end-of-life care. We are considered by other health care organizations to be a model for best practices and regularly offer on-campus and distance learning opportunities for other medical professionals. We have pioneered therapy treatments that incorporate music, massage and even pets--all of which have made a significant difference in the lives of our patients.
This broader view of what end-of-life care can do makes us a trusted and valued resource for physicians, other health care professionals, patients and families alike.
