We are Four Seasons, The Care You Trust

If you have experienced the death of a loved one, you know that grief is a journey that no one should have to take alone. That's what our Bereavement Buddies offer-- a friend to talk to, go for a walk or a cup of coffee with, and navigate the path of grief with kind support.
Four Seasons will provide you with the training you need to confidently provide compassion and companionship to someone who is grieving. As a Bereavement Buddy, you'll sign on for a six-month commitment to meet once a month, and check in weekly by phone or email, with your client. While you don't have to have a background in counseling or social work, it is helpful to have personal experience with loss and a willingness to learn how to support individuals who are grieving.

About Four Seasons The Care You Trust

Location:

571 S ALLEN RD, FLAT ROCK, NC 28731, US

Mission Statement

Co-Creating The Care Experience

Description

We are the end-of-life care specialists in Western North Carolina. This is all we do, caring for you and your loved ones through the last years and months of life. We believe innovative treatment and compassionate care go hand in hand. In fact, we are among the few organizations in the country that research and develop comfort care practices and treatments. We lead clinical studies that can help improve our patients’ symptoms and, ultimately, their quality of life.

Four Seasons is nationally recognized for providing exemplary palliative and end-of-life care. We are considered by other health care organizations to be a model for best practices and regularly offer on-campus and distance learning opportunities for other medical professionals. We have pioneered therapy treatments that incorporate music, massage and even pets--all of which have made a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

This broader view of what end-of-life care can do makes us a trusted and valued resource for physicians, other health care professionals, patients and families alike.
