I am looking for individuals who are at least 6 feet tall, and who are willing to wear either a tuxedo or a suit, to help guest up and down the risers during the gala. The ballroom has 100 tables and we've placed risers in the back of the room so that guests can climb them to watch their family/friends perform. Once the performance is over we need to politely usher people off of the risers so that the next set of guests can watch their loved ones.
This role will gently ask guests to step down so that the next crowd can step up and watch the show. Some of our gala guests will have on their finest high heels so they too will need help stepping down the stairs to avoid falling in the dark room.
The ideal candidate is a people-person who loves to get dressed up, people watch, and have a great time!

Description
Dancing Stars of Atlanta is an exciting benefit for the Alzheimer’s Association, GA Chapter. Reinventing the popular show, "Dancing with the Stars", this fundraising event is comprised of local celebrity dancers who are paired with professional ballroom dancers, to raise dollars by gaining votes! The dancers then come together to compete in a one night gala dance competition. Dancing Stars of Atlanta raises money to support research & programs and services provided for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, their families, and caregivers.
Presently, someone develops Alzheimer's every 67 seconds. Alzheimer's is also the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S. and the only one top 10 disease that is increasing. Without your support, the Alzheimer's Association will cease to aid those who are affected by this devastating disease.
