The inaugural Worcester Book Festival celebrates the impact of words on the Worcester community and beyond. This free festival will begin on Friday, April 17, 2020 and continues throughout the day on Saturday, April 18, 2020.

The Worcester Book Festival will promote a culture of reading, literacy, idea sharing, spoken word and education through a multitude of events, workshops and exhibitions. Acclaimed feature authors and poets will host lectures, panels and interactive sessions at locations in the heart of downtown Worcester. With opportunities for youth, residents and visitors, the Worcester Book Festival will highlight the City of Worcester's new Poet Laureates, as well as its love of nonfiction, sci-fi, illustrations and history.

For questions about the event, please contact the Cultural Development Division at 508-799-1400 ext. 3, or email culture@worcesterma.gov.
