LSS is looking for office support volunteers to sort through and keep track of our donations, including how many of each item there are, so that we know which items to ask potential donors for. This role can be either scheduled or as needed, dependent on the volume of donations we receive (typically we receive the most around holidays). We deal with all sizes of donations of essential items like clothing, toiletries, canned goods, and fruits and other perishables as well. The office support volunteer will update stock estimates each week to account for items given to clients and for new donations received during hours when we’re open.
We are currently looking to fill shifts on:
- Monday afternoons (1:30pm-4:30pm)
- Tuesday Mornings (9:00am-12:30pm)
- Wednesday mornings (9:00am-12:30pm)
- Wednesday afternoons ( 1:30pm-4:30pm)
- Friday mornings (9am-12:30pm)
