ORGANIZATION: WeAre Foundation

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 4 people are interested

The WeAre Foundation and Showering Love Organization are teaming up to bring a day of services to the homeless and housing-insecure. We do this by facilitating "pop-up" fairs that provide Haircuts, Backpacks, Wellness checks, Hot meals, Non-perishable food, and connect Guests with programs to increase self-esteem and self-sufficiency. More importantly, these fairs provide an opportunity for guests and volunteers to break down barriers, to engage and form relationships with the community and to restore hope!

Volunteers will help facilitate and assist the various booths and stations for our guests enjoyment. Tasks include set-up, break-down, and general assistance. Instructions will be given and assigned an hour before the start of the event. Lunch is provided.

If you have a particular area of interest you'd like to help with such as art, entertainment, or task management- please let us know! We're looking forward to collaborating with you.
