LEGOPalooza 2021 will now take place the weekend of MAY 22-23, 2021
LEGOpalooza is a tremendously fun event--it is a weekend where families explore activities with LEGO bricks inside and outside the science center. It is also one of the major fundraisers for Impression 5.
We ask volunteers to assist in directing guests and for engaging with visitors--assisting with various activities on both Saturday and Sunday.
This year's activities are still being planned, but past activities have included: playing Lego games (board games made out of Lego, but also slingshots and and a cornhole style 'feed the Lego monsters'), helping guests make Lego jewelry to take home, Lego robotics, Lego free build, and Lego cars/Lego ramps, etc)
We will have around 20 Lego-themed activities-this year they will be both indoors and outdoors to aid in social distancing. We know this has been a high-volume event in the past, but we will be limiting the capacity and offering tickets to be pre-purchased to help limit crowding. We will also require masks and plan events to be socially distanced.No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
