KBL is in need of baseball and softball Coaches for this season. Teams range from 4-6 year olds to 13-15 year olds, and Coaches can be placed at the age level they feel most comfortable. We're looking for Coaches who have experience either playing or coaching baseball or softball and enjoy interacting with kids and families in an atmosphere focused on fun and sportsmanship, along with light competition. We provide resources to help new Coaches have a fun and successful season.
Two Coaches are assigned to each team and Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available.
While many KBL Coaches are parents of players, it is not required and we find that non-parent Coaches are often a great fit for the League.
Teams hold two practices per week (scheduled by the Coach) between April 1 and May 10, and two games per week (scheduled by the League) between May 10 and July 11.
Due to the nature of this position, all interested volunteers will meet with members of the Board of Directors to ensure the right fit. Confirmed volunteers must pass a criminal background check.
Please contact us with any questions, or to set up a meeting!
