Cancer Support Community Arizona's Volunteer Orientation's & Training's are specifically designed for those who already know they want to volunteer with Cancer Support Community Arizona but want to learn where we need the help.

Examples of Volunteer Positions Include:

• Outreach Ambassadors - Tabling Events, Employee Fairs, Health Fairs, Community Fairs
• Fundraising Events -Setup/Breakdown, Security, Parking, Bartenders, Table Escorts
• Corporate Groups -Days of Service, Corporate Wellness, Event Support
• Front Desk/Admin -Gatekeeper, Thank you Cards, All incoming calls
• Hospital - St. Joe’s/Dignity, BUMC
• Program Facilitators-Yoga, Tai Chi, String Art, Men’s Socials, Facilitators
• Maintenance - Changing air filters, sweeping, windows,
• Greta's Garden - Gardening, garden clean up, roses, planting, fertilizing
• Phone - Data Verification, Thank you callers, Attendance

Qualifications:

• Ability to remain confidential during the volunteer service
• Must be respectful, self-motivated and display professionalism
• Have customer service orientation
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and participants
• Dependability

Requirements for CSCAZ:

1. Complete application / background check
2. Interview
3. Complete in-person orientation and training
