Join 47th Street/Olivia Canyon neighbors, community volunteers and San Diego Canyonlands for this 3rd Saturday routine stewardship event in the canyon as part of our restoration efforts. Help us to create a healthy habitat for for wildlife and a safe place for recreation in the City Heights community of San Diego. All ages welcome!
Volunteers will care for our native plantings, remove invasive plants and remove trash and debris from our restoration areas.

Mission Statement
San Diego Canyonlands' mission is to promote, protect and restore the natural habitats in San Diego County's canyons and creeks. We do this by fostering education and ongoing community involvement in stewardship and advocacy, and by collaborating with other organizations.
Description
During the monthly events, we would like volunteers to help us remove trash, invasive non-native plants, plant native plants in restoration sites, maintain trails, and do other exciting work to enhance the canyon. Our urban canyons and creeks are critical to the health of the San Diego ecosystems.
