Serve on the Board of Trustees and manage the FCCA Frederick Galley exhibitions using organization skills associated with juried/curated art exhibits. This position will become vacant in October 2020. Volunteers are currently welcomed to be trained to fill this position. Requirements include computer skills with Excel Workbooks, knowledge of the regional and local art communities, experience in managing art exhibitions, and a willingness to actively participate in the exhibition process including solicitation for jurors and planning a yearly calendar of exhibits.

Description
The Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts (FCCA) is a non-profit, member-supported, volunteer run arts center and gallery housed in the historic Silversmith House (c. 1785). We are also a partner of the Viginia Museum of Fine Arts which provides the FCCA with numerous resources to share with the community. We display the work of local and national artists, provide educational opportunities for children and adults, and place a strong emphasis on community outreach and interaction. Beyond our regular exhibition schedule we sponsor lectures, a monthly film series, monthly poetry readings, trips to sites of cultural and artistic interest, and also one-time events.
