As a UMOM donation center assistant, you’ll help our donors with incoming donations, write donation receipts, and provide exceptional customer service. Other duties may include organizing the main storage room. This volunteer position requires a lot of heavy lifting. We ask that volunteers must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to stand for long-periods of time.

Since 1964, UMOM New Day Centers has been dedicated to helping the homeless.The face of homelessness in Phoenix has changed throughout the decades, and UMOM has risen to the challenge of providing food, clothing and shelter and support services to those in need since its inception. - Looking for an individual who can volunteer at least one-day a week between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Ability to effectively maneuver around donation room, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting and climbing.
