The HAC Facility

The HAC facility is used to benefit HFHMSCO affiliate’s Construction and Repair projects, Educational programs, and support Community Carpentry/ Woodwork projects.

Education & Training

  • Construction education workshops
  • Affiliate education programs
    • Home maintenance and equipment
    • Energy; Utility; Insurance; etc.

Construction

  • Pre-fabrication for "Builds"
  • Shed construction; etc.

Repair

  • Weatherization; Home preservation and Critical repair projects
  • Special projects (i.e. wheelchair ramps, homeowner educational trainer, etc.)

ReStore Products

  • Picnic tables; Planters; Chairs; etc.
  • Woodworking projects

Community Project Application

  • Complete the HAC Project Application to get YOUR Carpentry or Woodwork project started.

Volunteers

  • An opportunity for volunteers to engage in Community and Habitat projects in a controlled environment.

Why We Build...

Homes, Communities and Hope

Habitat for Humanity served 94,618 families in fiscal year 2012. Since the ministry began in 1976, we have served more than 600,000 families. With an average family size of five, that's 3 million people whose living conditions have been improved through Habitat's work. Miami County Habitat, since 1993 has built 44 homes serving more than 200 people.
