The Stein Hospice Bereavement Team is in need of a mature individual with a social work or psychology background. The new Team member will be making weekly phone calls to our bereaved family members after the loss of their loved one. Ideally you will be compassionate and perhaps someone who has suffered a loss yourself, so that you can give support and listen closely to the feelings expressed by the family member. Also, since it is important that documentation of the call is made, you should be comfortable using the computer. Training is provided.
We are a friendly group and are very supportive to our volunteers. We work in a brand new building that is wheelchair accessible with plenty of parking. Come join our Team!
